Water Heater Questions

"Is a tankless water heater worth the money?"

It depends on your household. For homes with high hot water demand or limited space, tankless can be a smart long-term investment. For a single person or couple with low usage, the upfront cost may not pencil out. We'll walk you through the math.

"Will a tankless water heater work with my existing setup?"

Maybe. Gas tankless units often need a dedicated gas line and specific venting that your current setup may not have. Electric tankless units may require an electrical panel upgrade. We assess all of this before recommending the switch.

"Do tankless water heaters need maintenance?"

Yes. Annual descaling is important, especially in our area. Water hardness can cause mineral buildup inside the heat exchanger. Skipping maintenance shortens the life of the unit and reduces efficiency.

"How long does a tankless water heater last?"

With proper maintenance, 15 to 20 years or more. That's roughly double the lifespan of a standard tank unit.
